An art exhibition is being held to showcase the work of service users supported by Drug and Alcohol Services Herefordshire (DASH).

The exhibition is being held at the Community Hub, in Gaol Street, on Friday September 11 from 2pm.

All of the work being displayed at the event has been produced by service users on the Exploring Our Creativity course run by volunteer Gary Nightingale.

Gary said: "The exhibition will showcase the value that volunteers bring to the NHS, as well as demonstrating the benefits for service users of engaging in artistic and creative activity.

"Service users' work will be on display and, at this opening event, there will also be a presentation about Exploring Our Creativity, telling the story of how the course began and how it developed over four six-week runs.

"I designed and ran the course, as an ex-service user and as an NHS volunteer. This event is also a way of saying thank you and acknowledging all the support I have been given, by people at the Community Hub, by DASH and by the ²gether NHS Foundation Trust Social Inclusion Team."
