Kenneth collecting his award
For the first time since its inauguration, Social Finance sponsored a category for Outstanding Contribution to IPS Employment Support, and Kenneth Kwogyenga of our IPS Employment Service was one of two winners.
Kenneth said: “It is exceptionally great to be recognised for the work that I do by supporting people with Severe and Enduring Mental Health difficulties into paid and competitive employment.
“I honestly enjoy empowering others, be it clients, team members, colleagues, employers, clinical staff, and all the people I work hand in hand with. I dedicate this award to my family, the whole IPS Employment Service, GHC NHS FT, and to all the clients who allow us to serve them distinguishingly.
“Finally, I want to extend my gratitude to Social Finance/ IPS Grow for giving such recognition to all the Black and Ethnic Minority people within the Supported Employment world and the contribution they make to ensuring Race Equity, and that no community, group, culture or individual is left out when it comes to securing paid employment as part of their recovery journey.”
