Patient and Carer Race Equality Framework Update

There’s an open invitation for anyone who would like to attend a workshop to discuss the Patient and Carer Race Equality Framework (PCREF).

PCREF is a national initiative, aimed at ensuring NHS trusts providing mental health services become actively anti-racist organisations and reduce racial inequalities within their services.

A workshop is being held on Thursday 26 February from 9.30am until 12 at Churchdown Community Centre. The objectives of the morning will be:

  • To co-produce an Anti-Racist Statement for the Trust
  • To agree a shared terminology used across race equity and community groups

Colleagues, experts by experience and partner organisations are all welcome to attend.

If you would like to join in, please email: pcrefinbox@ghc.nhs.uk.
