Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a condition that affects people’s behaviour. Symptoms include inattentiveness, hyperactivity and impulsiveness.
You can find out more about ADHD on the NHS website.
What we offer
The adult ADHD service provides a diagnostic and follow up service for adults who live in Gloucestershire and do not currently have a diagnosis of ADHD. If you are diagnosed, you will be offered a follow-up appointment to review any medication which has been prescribed by your GP.
What to do if you think you have ADHD
If you feel that you may have ADHD, the first step is to seek advice from your GP. Patients are referred from the Mental Health Intermediate Care Team clinics in GP surgeries and then may be referred for assessment.
How to contact us
You can contact the adult ADHD service on 0300 421 3388.
