Notice of Election – Council of Governors December 2024

The Trust gives notice that it will hold elections to the Council of Governors of the Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust
Elections are to be held for the following positions:

3 public governors in the following constituencies

Constituency Vacancies Term length
Cheltenham 1 3 years
Gloucester 1 3 years
Stroud 1 3 years

A nomination form to stand for election to these positions is available from Thursday 5 December 2024 and can be obtained from the Returning Officer in the following ways:

All nominations should be received by the Returning Officer, Abi Walcott-Daniel, at the address or website as detailed above, by 5pm on Friday 20 December 2024.

Should any nominee wish to withdraw their nomination, they must put this in writing to the Returning Officer by 5pm on Friday 27 December 2024.

For all contested constituencies voting will open on Tuesday 14 January 2025. Voting will close at 5pm on Monday 3 February 2025.

Tuesday 14 October is Allied Health Professions (AHPs) Day. AHPs Day takes place every year in October. The day provides an opportunity to recognise the exceptional contribution our AHPs make to our health and care system, and to raise awareness of the 14 different professions and the varied career paths they offer.
