Hayet selected as Personalised Care Ambassador

Hayet LaverackOur Trust is delighted to announce that Hayet Laverack, Service Development Manager and Personalised Care Lead, has been selected as one of the latest health and care professionals to join the Personalised Care Institute (PCI) Ambassador Programme.

As a PCI Ambassador, Hayet becomes part of a growing national network of experienced clinicians, academics and care leaders who share a commitment to ensuring that personalised care becomes the standard approach across health and social care, not the exception.

Ambassadors play a key role in championing best practice, promoting training opportunities, and supporting services to embed personalised care principles in everyday practice.

The Personalised Care Institute was established in September 2020 to support the NHS Long Term Plan’s ambition to equip health and care professionals with the skills to deliver truly personalised care.

Its mission is to improve patient lives by empowering people with the knowledge, confidence and support they need to manage their mental and physical health. The PCI works to inspire and educate the workforce so that care is built around each person’s strengths, needs and expectations.

Hayet said: “I am honoured to become a Personalised Care Ambassador and to help champion an approach that truly puts people at the heart of their care.

“Personalised care is about listening, understanding what matters to people, and working with them so they feel confident and supported in managing their health.

“I’m excited to contribute to this national network and help strengthen the culture of personalised care across our services.”
