Our Trust held its first ever AHP Community of Practice Forum yesterday (Monday 16 October) at Churchdown Community Centre.
Hosted by Chief Allied Health Professional Sarah Birmingham, the event was well attended by Allied Health Professionals, Health and Exercise Practitioners and AHP Support Workers working across the Trust in clinical, leadership, educational and management roles.
Attendees enjoyed talks from a number of speakers, as well as a series of ‘lightening talks’ from colleagues working in various services and teams across the Trust.
In the weeks and months leading up to the forum, colleagues were asked to reflect on the last 12 months and nominate colleagues for a number of awards, which were presented by Sarah Birmingham at the end of the morning’s proceedings.
