As a Trust, we are passionate about redressing inequalities and coproducing what we do with the people we serve.
Governors play an important role in our Trust as members of the Council of Governors. They seek and reflect the views of the Trust’s members, promote and support the Trust’s strategy, hold the Board’s Non-Executive Directors to account, and help the Trust to decide its future direction.
Being a Governor means that you will hear first hand about new developments in the Trust and will have the opportunity to ask questions on behalf of your constituents on the key issues affecting you. This is your opportunity to get involved and make the voice of your community count.
Anyone can become a member of the Trust and then stand as a governor. Members also elect the governors, so please do join! We are really keen that our membership and our Governors should be connected to and represent the diversity of the communities we serve. Nominations will open on 29th June 2020 for the following Public Governor positions:
- Cheltenham – 2 posts
- Cotswolds – 1 post
- Forest of Dean – 2 posts
- Gloucester – 1 post
- Greater England & Wales – 1 post
Further information about the election and nomination process will shortly be sent out to all Trust members living in these constituencies.
