Carers Week: 5-11 June 2023

June 2, 2023
Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK.

It also helps people who don’t think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support.

Countless individuals in Gloucestershire support others in a caring capacity; be it a neighbour, family member or friend. Gloucestershire Carers Hub provides a helping hand, information, advice, guidance and – maybe most importantly – an impartial listening ear to all carers in the county.

This year, Carers Week revolves around the theme of ‘recognising and supporting carers in the community’.

Gloucestershire Carers Hub has a busy programme of events planned, designed to uplift and empower carers.
