With a success rate of fifty eight per cent placing the service as one of the best in the country, the services team of advisers have a real understanding of the challenges involved in giving up smoking.
James Curtis, lead trainer for the service said: “We recognise that the easiest way to quit smoking is getting support from the service. That’s why we have Specialist advisers offering one to one support through appointments and drop in clinics, as well as a number of Stop Smoking Groups; it’s great, as no one has to quit alone. This job gives us great satisfaction as we see what stopping smoking means to the lives of thousands of people.”
The course will be running from 10 weeks, starting at 6.00pm each week. If you are interested in finding out more, call us on 0300 421 0040, visit our website www.glos-care.nhs.uk, or follow us on twitter: @StopSmokingGlos
