Taster sessions are being held in the Forest of Dean for anyone interested in signing up for courses with the Severn and Wye Recovery College.

The college provides free courses for people recovering from mental illness. Anyone interested in finding out more can attend the sessions at the Belle Vue Centre, in Cinderford, on April 18 and 25 from 2 to 4.30pm.

The Severn and Wye Recovery College is provided by ²gether NHS Foundation Trust with other partners. The courses offered teach participants about mental health conditions, treatments, the best ingredients for recovery, and how to plan for the future.

They are aimed at anyone with experience of enduring mental illness, aged 16 and above. Students should either be a current ²gether service user or should have recently been discharged from ²gether services.

There are also places on courses for carers and professionals.

To book a place on the sessions ring 01452 894204 or visit www.swrecovery.org.uk for more information.
