Team of the week: CYPS Immunisation Team

Our Team of The Week this week is our Children and Young People Service (CYPS) Immunisation Team.

Operating across Gloucestershire, our CYPS Immunisation Team work to protect the health and wellbeing of Gloucestershire’s children by delivering a variety of vaccination programmes, including children’s flu vaccinations and the HPV vaccine.

Head Of School-Aged Immunisations, Caroline Halford, explains the significance of joining the team: “Joining the immunisation team is public health nursing at its best, protecting the health and wellbeing of our children and young people through a variety of vaccination programmes offered both in schools and community-based locations”.
