Team of the Week: Health Visiting Service

This week, our team of the week is our Health Visiting Service, which supports families with young children, working in teams for local communities, utilising their extensive knowledge of local areas and their respective services. As such, they are a team highly skilled in helping support families lead as healthy lives as possible, both physically and emotionally. Our Health Health Visiting service utilises contemporary health research and Department of Health guidance ensuring that their advice is based on the latest evidence.

Friday 1 December is #WorldAIDSDay – a global campaign by the National AIDS Trust, which has been recognised on 1st December every year since 1988. Its aim is to support those living with HIV, remember those who have lost their lives to AIDS-related illness, secure the rights of people living with the condition and continue the fight to end the stigma surrounding HIV.
