Team of the Week: Learning Disability Inpatient Services

Our Team of The Week this week is our Learning Disability Inpatient Services based at Berkley House in Stroud.

The service is for individuals with a diagnosis of learning disabilities or with behaviours that can be described as challenging and/or mental health needs that require specialist input within a hospital setting.

Operating 365 days a year and staffed 24 hours a day, there is a qualified learning disability or mental health nurse on site at all times.

Berkeley House is a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency service which includes nursing, psychology, psychiatry, occupational therapy, and speech and language therapy. Other forms of therapy can be sourced, such as art, music, or physiotherapy, if the individual needs this.
