Team of the week – Practice Education Service

November 5, 2021

Our *Team of the Week* is our Practice Education Service who, with the support of teams and departments ensure students enrolled to healthcare professional programmes are welcomed, gain positive and rewarding clinical learning experiences, qualify and seek employment within our Trust.

It’s an exciting time for the development of student placements – there ‘s a national drive to increase capacity for placements and this is being supported by rapid advances in simulation and technology-enabled care services. Working with Practice Education colleagues across Gloucestershire and Universities the team develops innovative approaches to ensure our students’ learning experiences are the best they can be when they are with us.

They’re really excited to have received additional funding to continue the ‘One Gloucestershire Clinical Expansion Project’ which underpins this service and are currently looking for team members to join the project on fixed term or secondment basis for phase 2 of the project.
