Visiting over the Christmas period

December 23, 2022

We know how important it is to our patients who aren’t able to get home just yet for loved ones to be able to visit over the Christmas period, so we are working hard to help make this happen safely.

Unfortunately, flu and Covid-19 are on the rise in the community – so we ask if you have or develop any flu like symptoms, please do not visit your friends or relatives unless it is essential or until you are better.

We ask that all visitors wear a type 2 surgical face mask – these are available when entering the hospital. We also ask that you wash your hands when entering and leaving the ward – and apply hand sanitising gel to your hands when on the ward.

Please ring ahead and check with the ward staff if you are not sure.

Merry Christmas
